Daniel W. Andrews
Daniel W. Andrews, a partner at Byrd Davis Furman, joined the firm in 1987 and focuses his practice in the areas of Personal Injury and Products Liability. With nearly two decades of experience, Mr. Andrews has successfully handled a broad range of personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He specializes in automobile negligence, products liability, insurance bad faith and claims against the State and Federal government.
After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Texas, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. Mr. Andrews continued his studies and earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University.
Daniel Andrews is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the U.S. District Court, Western District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Daniel Andrews has tried cases in both State and Federal court and has argued cases in the Courts of Appeals in Texas and the Fifth Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Andrews is a past President of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association and a Board member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Austin Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Texas Bar Foundation. He has participated as a speaker and author in many continuing legal education classes and seminars on the subjects of litigation and insurance coverage.
